When you sign in with Google, we receive and store the following from your Google account:

We do not access your Google contacts, calendar, Drive files, Gmail messages, or any other Google service data. We only request the minimum profile information needed to create your account.

Depending on your role, you or your representative may provide:

  • Property address and location for solar design
  • Electricity usage data (annual kWh, utility company, rates)
  • Phone number and additional contact information
  • Documents uploaded to the Platform (utility bills, site photos, contracts)
  • Notes and comments within the Platform

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, timestamps)
  • Activity logs (actions performed within the Platform for audit purposes)
  • Browser type, device information, and IP address
  • Cookies and session tokens for authentication

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Create and manage your user account
  • Generate solar system designs and proposals for your property
  • Calculate energy production estimates and financial projections

4. How We Share Your Information

  • Service providers who help us operate the Platform, including Supabase (database and authentication), Google (sign-in), Aerialytics (solar design engine), and SMTP2Go (email delivery). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies.
  • LightSkye Energy team members who are involved in your solar project (sales representatives, designers, project managers).
  • Legal authorities if required by law, court order, or government regulation.

We do not share your property address, electricity usage, or financial data with unrelated third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides:

  • Encrypted data at rest and in transit (TLS/SSL)
  • Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring users can only access authorized data
  • Regular automated backups
  • SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure

While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Cookies and Session Management

The Platform uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. These cookies are required for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. No third-party analytics or advertising scripts are loaded on the Platform.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of non-essential email notifications via your notification preferences
  • Revoke Google sign-in access at any time through your Google account settings

We retain your account information and project data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. 9. Google OAuth Specific Disclosures

The Platform's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

  • We only request access to your basic profile (name, email, picture)
  • We do not request access to sensitive Google scopes (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, etc.)
  • We do not transfer your Google data to third parties except as described in this policy
